About Safe and Sound with Amaya – The foundation was created in 2012 by Scott and
Deborah Deming following the death of their two year old granddaughter, Amaya Lynne
Beaudreault, who was crushed and killed instantly when a 32” tube style television fell on top
of her. Safe and Sound with Amaya is a non-profit organization that reaches out to parents,
grandparents and caretakers of children and toddlers in an effort to help educate anyone caring
for a child about the hazards of tip over accidents. Please visit
www.safeandsoundwithamaya.org to learn more about tip over accidents and how you can
prevent them in your home.
